Our Privacy Principles
No Personal Data Collection
We don't collect names, emails, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information. You can use JSONHosting completely anonymously.
No Tracking
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels. We don't monitor your behavior or build profiles about your usage patterns.
Secure Storage
All JSON documents are stored securely with encryption at rest. Edit keys are hashed and cannot be retrieved by our team.
Minimal Data
We only store what's necessary: your JSON content and basic metadata like creation time. Nothing more.
What We Collect
JSON Documents
When you save a JSON document, we store:
- • The JSON content you provide
- • A timestamp of when it was created
- • A hashed version of your edit key (for updates/deletions)
- • Basic metadata for system functionality
What We DON'T Collect
- • Personal information (names, emails, addresses)
- • IP addresses or location data
- • Browser fingerprints or device information
- • Usage analytics or behavioral data
- • Cookies or tracking data
How We Use Your Data
Your JSON documents are used solely to provide the JSONHosting service:
- • Serving your JSON via our API endpoints
- • Allowing you to update or delete documents with your edit key
- • Basic system maintenance and performance optimization
Data Retention
JSON documents are stored indefinitely as long as they're accessed occasionally. Documents that haven't been accessed for over 12 months may be archived or deleted to maintain system performance.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, traditional data protection rights don't apply. However, you can:
- • Delete your JSON documents using your edit key
- • Update your JSON documents anytime
- • Use the service completely anonymously
